Ismail Ozcan (MD, FACPh)

Dr. Ozcan is a board certified phlebology physician who has treated thousands of vein patients at his private Long Island practice, specializing in office-based procedures like sclerotherapy, endovascular RF, and phlebectomy. Dr. Ozcan is an active member of the American College of Phlebology and a diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology. Previously a general surgeon in his native country of Turkey, Dr. Ozcan has over 20 years of experience. He graduated medical school at the University of Ankara in 1988, and practiced as a general surgeon until moving to the United States in 2000. Dr. Ozcan completed Family Practice residency at South Nassau Communities Hospital in New York, with 1 year of surgery residency at the University of Connecticut, as well as 1 year at Nassau University Medical Center.

Today, Dr. Ozcan is very actively involved in following the latest developments in vein disease and its treatments. He attends many events and lectures every year, where he has received many CME credits in phlebology training, vascular technology, and ultrasound.
